Grade 10 High School - BC
This CPR & AED Training program is designed for Grade 10 students in British Columbia and supports the CPR and AED components of the BC Physical and Health Education 10 curriculum.
Students learn how to recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies through practical, hands-on training.

How to recognize cardiac arrest
How and when to call 911
The Chain of Survival
How to perform CPR
How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
How to respond to choking
How to recognize signs of heart attack and stroke
How to safely respond during an emergency
Hands-On Training
Students practise:
CPR using training manikins
AED use and pad placement
Choking response
Emergency scenarios
Working together during an emergency

On-Site School Training
Training can be provided directly at your school for individual classes, multiple classes or full Grade 10 groups.
The goal is to give students the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to recognize an emergency, call for help, perform CPR and use an AED when needed.
