Basic / Emergency First Aid and CPR C Recertification – In Person
REGISTER
The Basic / Emergency First Aid and CPR C Recertification course is a Canadian Red Cross in-person renewal course for participants who currently hold a valid Basic/Emergency First Aid and CPR C certificate and need to renew their certification before it expires.
This course reviews and refreshes essential First Aid and CPR skills, including emergency response, airway emergencies, CPR, AED use, choking, breathing and circulation emergencies, and wound care.
Duration
5 hours in class
Prerequisite
Participants must provide proof of a current, valid Basic/Emergency First Aid certification from an approved provider. Recertification must be completed before the existing certificate expires.
Completion Requirements
Participants must:
Attend and participate in 100% of the course
Successfully demonstrate required First Aid and CPR skills and critical steps
Achieve a minimum grade of 75% on the written knowledge evaluation
Certification
Upon successful completion, participants receive a new Canadian Red Cross Basic/Emergency First Aid and CPR C certification, valid for 3 years. The certificate is issued electronically through the Canadian Red Cross certification system.
