The FOODSAFE Level 1 course is an official British Columbia food safety certification program for individuals who prepare, handle, store or serve food.
This one-day, in-person course teaches essential food safety practices, including preventing foodborne illness, personal hygiene, temperature control, safe food preparation, cleaning and sanitizing.

Completion Requirements
Participants must:
Attend the full course
Complete the final exam
Achieve a minimum grade of 70%
Certification
Upon successful completion, participants receive an official FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate, valid for 5 years.
